Followed the Young Souls Tour featuring Light Up The Sky, Out Came The Wolves, and Myka Relocate. It was Myka's first headliner, and here are my images.
Light Up The Sky
I first heard of this band through a mutual photographer friend, Nik Stone, who I'll link everyone to at the end of this paragraph because he's phenomenal at what he does . These guys caught me off guard, in a good way. Such a solid sounding set. Nothing sounded off, or wrong. Check out their music via Rise Records, and pick up their new album, NightLife, as soon as you can. I'll link the social medias below!
Out Came The Wolves
I first heard of this band through knowing their guitar player George. He did guitar stuff for Palisades on the Younger Dreams Tour, and I remember him flying out to try out for the band. I was super stoked that I could finally see them play. Cam is a super fun, and photogenic, vocalist. Always getting good shots of him. Check out their new music video for their song, "Queen Mary" and watch out for some new stuff in the fall!
The first time I saw Myka Relocate they were opening for Like Moths To Flames on their summer headliner last year. I remember getting this really cool jump shot of Michael, and we both geeked out over it for a bit. Fast forward to So What! Music Festival this spring, and I caught their set, and once again got a sweet jump shot. I knew once this show got announced I'd go shoot as many as I could. The Columbus, Ohio show was hands down one of their best sets I've seen from them. Small, intimate show where the entire crowd knew the words. Loved seeing the dudes so happy. Check out their album "The Young Souls" and catch this tour if it rolls through your city.
